On 10 October 2025, Poinciana Rehabilitation Centre proudly hosted its World Mental Health Day event, welcoming members of the public and a diverse group of key stakeholders in recognition of the importance of mental health awareness and advocacy.
The event featured an inspiring keynote address by Dr. Marc Lockhart, who highlighted the significance of promoting mental well-being, reducing stigma, and supporting recovery within our communities.
We were also honoured to welcome Chief Officer Ms. Tamara Ebanks and members of the Ministry of Health Environment & Sustainability team, whose attendance underscored the Ministry's continued commitment to advancing mental health services and fostering collaborative partnerships.
The event provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue, community engagement, and the shared commitment to promoting mental wellness, resilience, and recovery across the Cayman Islands.
